Q. Is the pub & restaurant dog-friendly?

A. Absolutely! Well-behaved dogs are more than welcome at The Mousetrap Inn.

Q. Is the hotel accommodation dog-friendly?

A. We welcome well behaved dogs at the Inn and at present have three dog-friendly rooms.
Our dog-friendly rooms are the 3 nr. Twin Rooms located at Ground Floor level.
Our dog-free rooms are the 8 nr. Double Rooms located at First Floor level.
We politely request all guests requiring a dog-friendly room (or conversely, those specifically wanting a pet-free room) contact us to check availability before making any booking.
There is a surcharge payable of £15.00 per dog, per room booking (up to a maximum of 2 dogs allowed per room).
This surcharge is not included in the advertised room rate and is payable at the property.

Q. Do you have on-site parking?

A. We are a small Country Inn located in the Town Centre with limited external space.
Therefore, we cannot guarantee on-site parking as it is subject to availability.
We have a small car park and spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis.
However, Bouton-on-the-Water has generous parking space provision. If our car park is full, we recommend parking at the British Legion (which is just a few minutes' walk from the Inn), or in one of the many parking spaces available in the Town centre.

Q. What time is check-in and check-out?

A. Check-in is open from 3.00pm until 9.30pm. Latest check-out is by 10.30am.

Q. Can I check-in early or leave my luggage with you before the room is ready at 3pm?

A. We are sure you will understand that we cannot always accommodate early check-in as we are thoroughly cleaning the rooms prior to your stay.
Should you need to leave luggage with us on the day before the room is ready, we will do our best to try and accommodate this wherever possible.

Q. What time is breakfast served in the morning?

A. Breakfast is served in the restaurant between 08:00am and 10:00am (last orders 09:50am)

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. We offer two rate options for all bookings.
1. Pre-Payment. This is a non-refundable rate which is to be paid in full at the time of making the booking.
2. Flexible. A credit or debit card is required to secure your reservation and a pre-authorisation to the full value of the room booking will be taken at any time. If the booking is cancelled before 21:30, 7 days before check-in, it is free of charge, less than 7 days before check-in the cancellation charge is 100% of the total.
