Following the governments advise here are just some of the changes we are implementing at The Mousetrap Inn with the wellbeing of our guests and staff always at the forefront of our minds.
We will continuously review and implement changes to adapt to advise given by the government.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any further questions.
Stay well and safe, we are looking forward welcoming you here at the Mousetrap Inn.
A Freehouse with a well stocked bar including regularly changing local ales, we are showcasing the best of the region’s craft beers. Our staff are passionate about their spirit, wine and soft drinks selection, likewise our chefs are proud of the constantly evolving seasonal menu which boasts fresh produce sourced as locally as possible.
We are currently closed for food on Monday & Tuesdays. We suggest booking in advance to avoid disappointment, especially in the busier periods.
The team work hard to provide a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere at the Mousetrap, whether it be a nights stay in one of cosy rooms, a couple of drinks catching up with friends or celebrating a special occasion in our restaurant.
The Mousetrap is proud to be supported by a wonderful local community all year around. Please do come and visit us and bring along your friends, dogs or children (not necessarily in that order!).
Our 11 recently refurbished rooms include 3 pet friendly rooms on the ground floor and car parking spaces at the back (first come first serve basis).
Call us on 01451 820579 or email us on email@example.com to reserve a table.
"Inns are generally establishments or buildings where travelers can seek lodging, food and drinks."
Rumours abound as to how the name came about (Agatha Christie is supposed to have been a guest back in the day) but what is for sure is that it has been lovingly brought up to date with a quirky interior. It is now a bustling place for locals and visitors alike.
We are all locals and happy to recommend our favourite places to guests. Whether it's an off the beaten track hidden manor house, or a child friendly day out, we have the local knowledge you need to make the most of your stay in the heart of the Cotswolds.
The bar is well stocked, offering draught lagers, ales and ciders, many of which are supplied by local breweries. We are proud to have been included in the CAMRA 'Good Beer Guide' every year for the last nine years and continue to support our many local brewers. We also stock a wide range of spirits, again including a wide selection of locally made spirits such as Cotswold Gin and Whiskey, Wood Bros Vodka and our own Mousetrap Gin in a Tin to name a few. We work hard with our wine suppliers to provide an interesting list to suit all pallets and occasions, and we are always delighted to offer suggestions to accompany dishes.
Our menus have been crafted by Head Chef Tom Law, who has a strong focus on locally sourced produce. We benefit from Toms vast experience cooking in restaurants around the world and he holds himself to extremely high standards. All of the team here have a passion for good food and it is safe to say there is no shortage of volunteers to taste new dishes!
You don't have to book a table, but we do highly recommend it - especially for evenings and weekends: 01451 820579.
We don't automatically reserve tables in the restaurant for residents staying with us, so please do book a table if you would like to dine.
Our menus vary from dawn to dusk. We have a selection of vegetarian options and a small selection of vegan option as this continues to grow in popularity, both on our lunch and evening menus.
It goes without saying that we also do a mean Sunday beef & pork roast!
In addition to our extensive wine and cocktail list we offer hot & soft drinks. We are more than happy to offer you the finer things with a choice of prosecco or champagne as well.

We are extremely lucky to have the walls within the pub and rooms filled with paintings in oil by local artist Silvi Schaumloeffel. Silvi trained in classic and contemporary oil painting and her paintings are influenced by the landscape and life that surrounds her here in the Cotswolds. We hope you enjoy her work.

All works are for sale at the pub, please simply speak to our staff and they can help to get you in touch with the artist.
